MBA Curriculum
The first semester of MBA Course is focused towards completion of the core courses to ensure a strong foundation of the basic concepts across the various management subjects. From the second semester onwards students need to select combination of major & minor specialization. As per revised 2019 syllabus of S.P. Pune University recommendations, MAJOR-MINOR specializations are offered
Major Specialization + Minor Specialization Combination
Major Specialization – Courses: Total 9 (4 Subject Core courses and 5 Subject Elective courses)
Minor Specialization – Courses: Total 4 (2 Subject Core courses and 2 Subject Elective courses)
Major Specialization – Credits: Total 22 (12 Credits from Subject Core + Minimum 10 Credits from Subject Electives)
Minor Specialization – Credits: Total 10 (6 Credits from Subject Core + Minimum 4 Credits from Subject Electives)

MBA -Finance
Students specializing in Finance will learn Financial Accounting, Accounting concepts, Double Entry Accounting, Secondary Books, Trial Balance, Final Accounts, Management Accounting, Financial Statement Analysis, Understanding Cost, Marginal Costing and Break Even Analysis, Budgetary Control etc.
MBA – Operations & Services Management
Student's pursuing MBA in Operations & Services Management learn about Information Technology, Quantitative Management, Operation Management, Factors of Service Marketing, Six Sigma, Total Quality Management, Industrial Relations etc.
Operations management adds to the repertoire of a Graduate the ability to Plan, analyze& supervise the ecosystem of producing goods or providing services. The course content is hinged on the aspects of how to improve efficiency in managing inputs to get the desired output. In today's world, the gamut of inputs is vast, ranging from materials to equipment to technology to human resources.
